How to install Recovery mode on Vodafone Smart II (Alcatel V860)

 This is a tutorial about how to install recovery mode on Vodafone Smart II. You need recovery mode for  easy root your phone,and get superuser access.






!!! Please read carefully all steps and be sure that your battery is charged more than 80 %.
Also,you need to activate USB Debugging,you can do this in SETTINGS --> APPLICATIONS --> DEVELOPMENT --> then check USB Debugging box // And you have to install your phone's drivers.  !!!

 You can check if you have Recovery mode installed by start up your phone with POWER + VOLUME UP  buttons pressed together,after phone vibrates,release the Power button and keep pressing VOL UP button.
 If you DON'T have Recovery Mode installed,your phone will show this image:

       Now,let's install Recovery mode.

  1. Download this archive,and extract it to your computer.

  2. Start your phone using POWER + VOLUME DOWN buttons,after phone vibrates,release the Power button,but keep pressing VOL DOWN button for 3-4 seconds. Your phone will show this image:

 3. Connect your phone to the computer using a data cable (I suggest you to have a good data cable,my cable that came with the phone doesn't have good contact,so it keep disconnect and reconnect my phone).

 4. Open the folder that you extracted from archive,and run "install-system-windows"

 5. Disconnect your phone from PC,and remove phone's battery,and then put it back

 6. Start your phone by pressing POWER + VOLUME UP buttons,after phone vibrates,release the Power button and keep pressing VOL UP button untill you see the recovery menu like in this image:

Choose first option "Reboot system now".
